Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide specialized nutritional care for pediatric patients in a clinical setting. This position will work closely with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized nutrition plans and support patients with complex nutritional needs.

What You'll Do
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric patients with varying levels of clinical complexity
Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on each patient's medical and nutritional needs
Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, parents, and caregivers
Support the nutritional management of patients receiving TPN
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Monitor nutritional progress and make appropriate adjustments to nutrition interventions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Explain nutrition recommendations in a way that is appropriate for patients and families with different levels of understanding
Develop and customize educational resources for patients and caregivers
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical projects
Assist with nutritional care across pediatric specialty clinics as needed

What We're Looking For
3+ years of Registered Dietitian experience
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Current Texas Licensed Dietitian credential
Bachelor's or graduate-level education from an accredited dietetics/nutrition program as required for professional credentialing
Strong knowledge of the nutrition care process
Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger clinical team
