Position: New Patient Scheduler (Bilingual Preferred) Location: Fresno, CA Pay: $18–$22/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented New Patient Scheduler to support a busy medical office. This role focuses on scheduling new patient appointments, coordinating referrals, and ensuring a smooth intake process. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of medical office or scheduling experience
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with scheduling software (Medical Manager a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule new patient appointments and manage referral coordination
Verify insurance, demographics, and patient information
Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and next steps
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
Answer incoming calls and assist with scheduling inquiries
Support providers and staff to ensure efficient daily operations
Provide a professional, welcoming experience for all patients
