Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Company: Hire Up Staffing Services Location: Fresno Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $20–$23/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced and reliable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a dynamic healthcare team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong front and back office experience who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. The CMA will support both administrative and clinical functions to ensure efficient daily operations and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Front Office Duties:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries
Back Office Duties:
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Take and record vital signs and medical histories
Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
Administer injections and perform basic lab procedures (as permitted)
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in both front and back office settings
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
