Overview:
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Front Office Medical Assistant to join a busy OB/GYN practice in Fresno. This role is critical to daily operations, as you will be the first point of contact for patients and responsible for opening the office each morning.
Key Responsibilities:
Open the office daily and prepare front desk for patient arrivals at 7:30 AM
Greet and check in patients with a high level of professionalism
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Handle incoming calls, patient inquiries, and front office coordination
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems
Collect co-pays and assist with basic billing inquiries
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of front office medical assistant or medical reception experience
Strong understanding of insurance verification and eligibility
Experience in OB/GYN or women’s health highly preferred
Experience with EPIC, NextGen, or Intergy strongly preferred
Highly reliable with consistent attendance (must be punctual for early start time)
Professional, organized, and able to manage a fast-paced environment
