Credentialing Specialist – Immediate Hire
Location: Stockton, CA Pay: $21-$26/hour Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our team immediately in Stockton. This role is essential in managing provider credentials, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers and healthcare providers. Responsibilities:
Set up new providers and manage insurance credentialing and contracting
Maintain and update provider files to ensure all credentials are current and accurate
Review, advise, and negotiate contracts with managed care and third-party payers
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and confidentiality regulations
Follow up on applications to ensure timely credentialing
Support office operations with critical thinking and problem-solving
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to think independently and assist others in the office
Prior experience in credentialing is a plus, but training is available
